Petra Bagust leads debate at launch of women entrepreneurs week 2013

February 27, 2013

Created to champion and celebrate female entrepreneurial success, Co.OfWomen launch women entrepreneurs week 2013 on March 7th at inc!te; the annual forum on success which is  supported by Ernst & Young, global champions of entrepreneurial success.

Taking place in the week prior, inc!te sets the scene for the week featuring two key sessions that open wide the conversation on success by focusing on the two opposite ends of the journey; the early (grafting) years and the view of success at the other end.  These are followed by a cocktail function where women entrepreneurs week is officially launched, and the celebration begins.

More than one hundred women will gather at Ernst & Young from across New Zealand to participate in this interactive event that encourages diverse view points to represent the real diversity of experience that is the journey to success.

The first session focusing on the earlier (grafting) years will be facilitated by Co.OfWomen founder, Tara Lorigan and will feature four business owners from four different industries at different stages of the first ten years.  They will each share the specific challenges they have faced and how they have overcome them and receive feedback on current challenges from experienced entrepreneurs.

Session 2 features Hall of Fame inductees Anita Finnigan, Best Pacifica Institute &  Sharon Hunter, PC Direct who are joined by Co.OfWomen board member Wynnis Armour, Madison Group.  These experienced and successful entrepreneurs will share their journey and engage attendees in a debate on success facilitated by Co.OfWomen member, Petra Bagust.

A cocktail function follows these session where Co.OfWomen founding Chair, Dr Lee Mathias (Birthcare founder) who will be joined by Jo Doolan (partner Ernst & Young), will officially launch the week and lead the celebration.

Co.OfWomen’s board extends a warm invitation to entrepreneurial women from all domains to join us at inc!te.
